Appointment of the Acting Director

Senior Professor Ranjith Premalal De Silva has been appointed as the Acting Director of the National Institute of Fundamental Studies (NIFS) by the Secretary to the Ministry of Skills Development, Vocational Education, Research and Innovation. The appointment was made on 01st of May 2021.

Prof. De Silva is also the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Vocational Technology, Co-Chairman | National City University Steering Committee Ministry of Skill Development, Vocational Education, Research and Innovation, A Senior Professor at the Department of Agricultural Engineering Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya.
