Professor Gamini Seneviratne has been ranked the best scientist in agriculture in Sri Lanka.

Professor Gamini Seneviratne, Senior Research Professor in Microbial Biotechnology at the NIFS has been ranked the best scientist in Agriculture in Sri Lanka by the AD Scientific Index 2023. He is also in the top 10% in Asia.

AD Scientific Index analyzes academic studies from 218 countries, 21904 universities/institutions, and 1,354,831 scientists by using the H index, i10 index, and citation count criteria to present results to be used for the evaluation of productivity and efficiency by individuals and institutions. In addition to the ranking by "total H-index", you can also see the ranking and analysis by "last 6 years H-index", "total i10 index", "last 6 years i10 index", "total citations", and “last 6 years citations”.
