49th School Science Programme (SSP)
The 49th School Science Programme (SSP) was held from November 18 to 20, 2025. This programme began in 1987with the aim of encouraging students to explore and enjoy science.
Each year, students who have achieved 9As at the GCE (Ordinary Level) examination from different districts across Sri Lanka are selected to take part. The programme provides an exciting and supportive environment that helps build curiosity, creativity, and clear thinking.
Over the years, the SSP has grown in reach and impact. So far, 3,868 students with O/L 9A results have participated in this valuable experience. It gives them the chance to learn new ideas, engage in educational activities, and meet other students who share a love for learning.
