Dengue Prevention Programme Conducted at NIFS
The National Institute of Fundamental Studies (NIFS) successfully conducted a special Dengue Prevention Shramadana Campaign together with a Dengue Awareness Lecture delivered by Prof. Dammika Magana-arachchi at the NIFS premises on 26 June 2026.
The programme was organized with the objective of eliminating potential mosquito breeding sites, improving the cleanliness of the institute premises, and supporting the national initiative to curb the spread of dengue. The awareness session highlighted the importance of preventive measures, early detection, and the collective responsibility of maintaining a dengue-free environment.
All staff members actively participated in the programme, demonstrating their commitment to promoting a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace through their collective efforts.
