Visit of High Commissioner of India
On the afternoon of 14 May 2025, His Excellency Mr. Santosh Jha, High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, visited the National Institute of Fundamental Studies (NIFS) in the company of Madam Jha and Mr. Maitrey Kulkarni, Counsellor (Development Cooperation) at the Indian High Commission in Colombo. They were joined by Ms. Saranya V.S., Assistant High Commissioner of India in Kandy.
The visit was highly productive, marked by meaningful interactions between the High Commissioner and NIFS scientists. The discussions led to the exchange of valuable ideas and explored promising avenues for future collaboration between NIFS and leading scientific institutions in India.
