Sachini Himasha is currently a Research Assisant in the Microbial Biotechnology project at the National Institute of Fundamental Studies (NIFS). She obtained a B.Sc. Hons. in Agriculture (Special) in Environmental Soil Management Degree from Rajarata University of Sri Lanka in 2023. Because of her eagerness for research, she joined to NIFS in 2022 and started her career as an undergraduate researcher. She is currently engaged in her M.Phil. research work. Her research interests include Organic Agriculture, Soil Nitrogen Mineralization, and Pest and Diseases Management
