Esmond Gunasekaran is currently an M.Phil Research Assistant in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics Project at the National Institute of Fundamental Studies. He obtained his Bachelors degree in Information Technology from Aquinas University College in 2018. He is a Senior Software Engineer in Several Overseas Software Firms and a Visiting Lecturer in Software Engineering and Programming. He Joined NIFS in 2022. His research focus is on Computational Mathematics, Algorithms, and Software Engineering. His research interests are Programming, Web Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Development Life Cycles, Database Engineering, and Algorithms. He is a Professional Member of the Computer Society of Sri Lanka (CSSL) and a member of the Institue of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)
