Prashansani obtained a BSc. Hons. In Microbiology in 2023 from Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. She worked as a teaching assistant at the same University in 2023 and joined the National Institute of Fundamental Studies in the same year. Currently, she is engaged in M.Phil research and her research interests are in the areas of Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.
