Dr Madurya Adikaram obtained her BSc (Sp.) Hons. degree in Geology (2005) from the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka, Master degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering (2011) from Saitama University, Japan and Ph.D. in Earth Sciences (2018) from Post Graduate Institute of Science, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. She is working as a Senior Lecturer in Earth Science at South Eastern University of Sri Lanka from 2006 to present and joined to NIFS as a Research Assistant after obtaining the sabbatical leave from her working university. Her current research is on renewable energy which can be developed through the economically available earth resources of Sri Lanka.
