Madara Thilakarathne holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Microbiology and Biotechnology from Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland, awarded in 2020. She has gained nearly three years of experience in both academic and clinical laboratory settings, primarily in the field of medical microbiology. Then she completed her Master’s degree in Medical Microbiology at the University of Peradeniya. Her research interests focus on developing therapeutic solutions from microbes, with a strong emphasis on sustainable living and eco-friendly approaches.
