Lahiru Kanchana is currently working as an M.Phil. Research Assistant on the Material Processing and Device Fabrication Project at the National Institute of Fundamental Studies (NIFS), Sri Lanka. He earned his B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Chemistry from the University of Colombo in 2022 and joined NIFS in 2025. His research is centered on developing Photoelectrochemical Solar Cells, with broader interests in solar energy, supercapacitors, and nanotechnology.
