Bhanuka Gunarathne is currently a M.Phil. Research Assistant in the Material Processing and Device Fabrication Project in National Institute of Fundamental Studies (NIFS). He obtained a Graduateship in Chemistry in 2023  from the Institute of Chemistry, Sri Lanka  and joined NIFS in 2023. His research focuses on Development of  PhotoElectroChemical Solar Cells. His research interests include solar energy, Supercapacitors and nanotechnology.
