Upesha Siriwardhane is currently a M.Phil Research Assistant with the Natural products project at the National Institute of Fundamental Studies (NIFS). She received her B.Sc (Hons.) in Chemistry from University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2019 and joined NIFS in 2020. Her research focuses on the study of antifungal, enzyme inhibitors and other bioactive compounds from selected medicinal plants in Sri Lanka. Her research interests include organic chemistry, spectrometry, natural products chemistry.
