Sanuri Hettiarachchi is currently a Research Assistant with the Condensed Matter Physics and Solid-State Chemistry project at the National Institute of Fundamental Studies (NIFS). She received her B.Tech. (Hons.) from the Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka in 2020, and joined the NIFS in the same year. Her current research focuses on Electrospun polymer nanofibres and their applications in dye sensitized solar cells, heavy metal and bacteria removal water filters. Her research interests include electrospinning, electrospun nanofiber synthesis, polymer gel electrolytes and water filtration.
