Research Assistant - Molecular Microbiology and Human Diseases

Sanduni Bandara joined as a NSF funded Research Assistant attached to the Molecular Microbiology & Human Diseases research group at the National Institute of Fundamental Studies (NIFS) in January 2021. She received her B.Sc (Honours). in Molecular Biology and Plant Biotechnology from University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka in 2020. Her research focuses on cyanobacteria and cyanotoxins as a causative factor for CKDu. Her research interests include Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Toxicology.
