Research Assistant - Plant and Environmental Sciences
Rasika Dissanayake is currently a PhD Research Assistant with the Plant and Environmental Sciences project at the National Institute of Fundamental Studies (NIFS). He received his B.Sc. from the University of Peradeniya Sri Lanka in 2011 and M.Sc. in 2013 and joined the NIFS in 2017. Rasika's research focuses on the development of adsorbent materials for wastewater treatment. His research interests include Environmental Remediation, Material chemistry, Physical chemistry, Polymer Chemistry and Metal Organic Frameworks and Organometallic Chemistry.
