Jayani Kalinga is currently a Research Assistant in Natural Products project, reading for her M.Phil. Degree, at the National Institute of Fundamental Studies. She obtained her B.Sc. Special Degree in Botany from South Eastern University of Sri Lanka in 2019 and joined with NIFS in 2020. Her research focuses on chemistry and bioactivities of secondary metabolites isolated from endophytic fungi associated with medicinally important Sri Lankan flora. Her research interests include Fungal Biology, Plant Pathology, Natural Products and diversity of endophytic fungi.
