Research Assistant - Nutritional Biochemistry
Harshani Nadeeshani joined as a Ph.D. Research Assistant to the Nutritional Biochemistry project at the National Institute of Fundamental Studies (NIFS) in 2021. She received B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2015 and a M.Phil. degree in Food Science and Technology from the same university in 2018. Her research interests lie in the area of Nutritional biochemistry and functional and nutritional properties of food. For her Ph.D. she will be focusing on nutritional status and prevalence of early childhood caries among Sri Lankan children.
